Levis Red are an exciting denim jean which made their debut in 1999.
They originated when a designer deconstructed a pair of traditional Levi’s jeans, and re-interpreted them by blowing seams apart, warping details, and playing with proportions to find a new look in contemporary denim aesthetics.
Levis Red Original Rigid Loose Jeans. The jeans feature the traditional 2 front pockets with an extra pocket on the right near the high waist band and one large rear pocket. The stitching has an unfinished look and the copper rivets at stress points are set in brown suede for extra strength. This style comes with detachable denim braces that can be adjusted and attach to the waistband with a button fastening. The waist on this style is oversized with a slim leg.
Levis Red Diamond Rigid Leg Jeans. These Bow Legged Diamond jeans from Levi’s RED AW08 collection are inspired by the rodeo cowboys of the 1950s. This rigid denim style features ‘unfinished’ stitch detail, square cut pockets and patented copper rivets on the stress points with a suede washer for extra strength. These jeans are named ‘Diamond’ as a reflection of the bowed leg shape and have an oversized waist with a slim leg.
Levis Red Rigid Boxy Straight Jeans. They are a straight leg jean with messy, unfinished stitch detail that features throughout the AW08 collection and patented rivets set in suede for extra strength. This style features the traditional 2 front pockets and with an extra pocket on the right near the waistband. An adjustable D-Ring belt can be detached by a button hole either side of the hip. There are two seams on both the front and back of the leg to give an unusual panel effect and a cinch back for shape. The waist is oversized and the leg slim.
